About

WELLNESS IS WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT

What is Wellness?

Wellness is all about making good decisions, for yourself. Eating what is best for YOUR body. Learning how to deal with all of the things that cause long-term stress. Taking the time necessary for you to wind down and allow the stress to calm. When we understand what causes the stress, we can develop a relationship with those things.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We are Different

Nara Thai Massage looks at bodywork from a different angle. When we work deep, we communicate with the nervous system one way. When we move arms and legs, the nervous system interprets that another way. When we pinpoint a trigger point, or stretch your neck, or twist your wrist, it gives your nervous system more information. We stress the body, through a stretch or pressure, and then allow it to relax. By doing this over and over, the nervous system gets to a point where it trusts and then surrenders. We work through deliberate specific actions and timing to achieve this. We are different, so that you can become different.

EXPLANATION OF TREATMENTS

Thai Combination Massage

Thai combination introduces you to Thai bodywork. It combines Western bodywork with Eastern traditional Thai techniques to move the body in ways that will open up energetic pathways and allow prana to flow more efficiently. A session may include stretching and pressure point therapy.

01

Ashiatsu / Thai Walking Massage

The specially trained therapist uses their feet and body weight to achieve a deep level of relaxation while increasing mobilization and wellbeing. This allows for more pressure than a typical massage session.

05

Swedish

Swedish massage uses smooth, gliding strokes with firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension,  improve flexibility, and create other health benefits.

02

Thai Stretching

A specially trained therapist takes the body gently to a place of maximized mobilization. The client and therapist work together with honest communication to assure a safe stretch.

06

Add Hot Stones to your Massage

Hot Stone Massage is often paired with Swedish Massage. Stones are heated and used with oils to sooth, warm, and massage your muscles. This allows your body to relax and release tension and stress.

03

Prenatal Massage

Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting mothers. A specially-trained therapist will use cushions, pillows and side-lying postures to work the sore areas while supporting both mom and baby.

07

Add CBD oil to your Massage

CBD has come a long way and we have researched the best Hemp product without any THC to ensure your safety and relaxation. Certified Organic Fractionated Coconut Oil infused with Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract.

04

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body.  Firm deep pressure techniques are used to relax connective tissue.

08

Add Cupping to your Massage

Cupping is the application of suction or vacuum to the skin for a therapeutic effect. Cupping lifts and separates the skin and fascia, allowing adhesions to break apart and trigger points to release.
